Anju 2.0: Chinese Girl Reaches Pakistan to Marry Her Friend

After the Indian girl Anju case, a similar incident has come into the limelight. A Chinese girl has now come to Pakistan to meet her Snapchat friend. According to a report published on ARY News, a Chinese girl named Gao Fang has come to Pakistan to meet her friend Javed Hashmi in Lower Dir.


A police official told the media outlet that Gao Fang and Javed Hashmi were in contact with each other on the social media app Snapchat for three years. The report also said that Gao Fang and Javed Hashmi have tied the knot. The police official also said that Gao Fang’s movement has been temporarily restricted due to security reasons.


Before Gao Fang, an Indian girl Anju came to Pakistan to meet her Facebook friend from Upper Dir and married him after converting to Islam.
